DESCRIPTION:First Tee-West Michigan in Newaygo County is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Our mission is to make good golfers\, but even better people. First Tee-West Michigan believes the skills learned on the golf course can prepare young people to be successful in everyday life. This undoubtedly will make our game better\, but makes society better as well. \nThe First Tee-West Michigan chapter has a community presence in Grand Rapids\, Holland\, Kalamazoo\, Muskegon\, Oceana and Newaygo.
